It usually takes 24-48 hours for a domain to fully propagate. This, however, all depends on your ISP. It might update within minutes for your neighbor, but take up to a week for you. The reason for this is the local routers your ISP runs off update at different times. If you are on Comcast or RoadRunner cable, it is very common for DNS take a week or more to update.
