After ordering a SSL Certificate from us, here are the steps to proceed:-
If your domain is pointed to our server
You can setup and install your SSL Certificate with just a few clicks using our AutoInstall SSL system.
You will receive an email (SSL Certificate Order - Enrollment Steps) which will contain a Token in it.
Once you receive the email, head over to your cPanel --> AutoInstall SSL and input the Token into the form.
You will be guided through the entire process and if you ordered a Domain Validated (DV) SSL Certificate, it should only take a few minutes to complete with the SSL Certificate installed.
If you ordered an Organization Validated (OV) or Extended Validated (EV) SSL Certificate, AutoInstall SSL will guide you on the steps to submit your validation documents to the Certificate Authority.
If your domain is not pointed to our server
You will not be able to take advantage of our AutoInstall SSL system.
You can setup your SSL Certificate with the SSL Configuration Link in the email (SSL Certificate Order - Enrollment Steps).
You will need the following details:-
1. Web Server: cPanel / WHM
2. CSR: You can setup your Certificate Signing Request (CSR) in your cPanel --> SSL/TLS
3. Signature Algorithm: SHA-2
You will be provided with steps to validate your domain if you ordered a Domain Validated (DV) SSL Certificate.
If you ordered an Organization Validated (OV) or Extended Validated (EV) SSL Certificate, you will see the steps to submit your validation documents to the Certificate Authority.
After Installation
- You can add the SSL Site Seal to your website, which will help instill confidence among your website visitors.
- You can setup your website with HTTPS to start taking advantage of the SSL Certificate.
